UN Conference seeks solutions to global water crisis The world’s precious water resources are “in deep trouble” and leaders are meeting at UN Headquarters this week to address what has become a multifaceted global crisis, before it is too late.
The Islamic Fiqh Council of the Republic of the Sudan has announced that Thursday, March 23, 2023, will be the first day of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, 1444 Hijri.
The Embassy of Malaysia in Khartoum wishes all Muslims a blessed Ramadhan.

MEETING WITH DIRECTOR OF ASIAN DEPARTMENT OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE SUDAN
On 6 March 2023, His Excellency Mohamad Razdan Jamil met with His Excellency Mohamed Abdullah, Director of Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Sudan.
During the meeting both sides discussed cooperation relations and ways to enhance as well as to develop them in various fields to serve the aspirations of the two countries.

YAB PRIME MINISTER'S INTERACTION WITH MALAYSIA'S HEADS OF MISSION
On 7 March 2023, His Excellency Mohamad Razdan Jamil joined 105 Malaysia's Heads of Mission from all over the world in an interaction session with YAB Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia.
YAB Prime Minister conveyed his message to the Heads of Mission under the theme ‘Diplomacy in a Globalised World from the Lens of Malaysia MADANI,’ and the Unity Government‘s mandate and aspirations to the Heads of Mission in fulfilling their duties in defending Malaysia’s sovereignty and interests abroad.

MEETING WITH ASIA CARGO NETWORK GROUP
On 23 February 2023, His Excellency Mohamad Razdan Jamil met with Mr. Manosh Sivadas, General Manager of Asia Cargo Network (ACN) Group and Mr. Lukman Hakim, ACN Area Manager. The purpose of this meeting was for ACN Group to update on their new venture with Green Flag Aviation Co. Ltd, a local air transportation service company in Khartoum.
With this new ventures in Sudan, ACN Group will create new market and opportunities in Sudan and the African region thus allowing easier access for products from Malaysia to be delivered to Sudan andt this will continue to increase the level of trade between Malaysia and Sudan.
The Embassy wishes ACN Group all the best for this new venture.
