4th Aqrab World Gaza Aid in 2026

Recently on 6th to 11th Zulhijjah, Aqrab World distributed 12,000 loaves of bread and 5 trucks of drinking water containing 4,000 litres of water each to our Muslim brethren in Gaza.

Following up on this, for our 4th Gaza Aid in 2026, Aqrab World plans to install water pipelines in Khan Younis camp in Gaza. This will ensure ease for the people in getting regular supply of water without having to travel kilometres. This will benefit 200 tents, consisting of 5000 children, men and women.

"Sa'ad asked: Messenger of Allah, Umm Sa'ad (Sa'ad's mother) has died; what form of sadaqah is best? He replied: Water (is best). He dug a well and said: It is for Umm Sa'ad.
(Hadith Abi Dawud)

Projek Kemakmuran Kampung (PKK) -Livelihoods

In January 2022, PKK -Livelihoods were launched by Aqrab World with the aim to sustain the long term needs and financial assistance of various communities. These include the Villagers, Poor and Needy, Orphans and Asatizahs in various Madrasahs and Tahfidzs. These projects span over these areas:

• 6 localities in Cambodia
• 1 locality in Semporna, Sabah

If you give a man a fish, he eats for a day; teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime.

We have used this approach to run PKK -Livelihood, by empowering the communities through providing the foundations and initial resources.

Through these efforts, job opportunities and small businesses are created, skills are learned and acquired, Asatizahs are rumenerated, families are financially supported and sustenance are shared with nearby neighbours.

وَأَن لَّيْسَ لِلْإِنسَٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ (٣٩)
"And that there is not for man except that for which he strives for."
(Quran 53:39)

Launching of 6th Aqrab World PKK @ Kg Kheng Kawit in Cambodia

The objective of Projek Kemakmuran Kampung (PKK) is to uplift and improve the livelihoods of the villagers, and also sustain Balai Imarah An Naim and Madrasah which includes the Asatizahs'allowances.

~Balai Imarah purposes:
- Organise Majlis and Kampung activities
- Organise Bimbingan Agama classes for teenagers and adults

~Work plan:
- In May 2024, completed building of concrete 2-classroom Madrasah to replace 1-classroom wooden rundown Madrasah
- Number of students increased from 63 to120
- Built 2-cabin toilet
- Installed solar panel set & water tank

- In May 2026, converted former Madrasah to Balai Imarah An Naim, Kg Kheng Kawit
- Replaced roof and painted walls
- Built concrete stairway leading Balai Imarah to Madrasah An Naim
- Installed solar panel & water purifier sets

~Soon in September 2026:
- Gift of 12-14 breeding cows to support monthly allowances for 2 Madrasah and Balai Asatizahs

Why do you think the dead wish to perform charity if they return to Earth?

As Almighty Says: {And donate from what We have provided for you before death comes to one of you, and you cry, “My Lord! If only You delayed me for a short while, I would give in charity and be one of the righteous} - Quran 63:10

He didn't say I'll perform Umrah or so I could pray or so I could fast.
The dead mentioned charity due to what (s)he saw of its great effect after his/her death.
So give plenty of charity, and the best of charity you could possibly do at this moment is to spend 10 seconds to forward this advice as a reminder; after all a good word is a charity. Allah bless you.

In this beautiful verse of the Quran, Allah swt is inviting us on behalf of the needy, to give a GOOD LOAN to Him.

To give in the form of infaq, charity etc, is a distinctive trait of a believer. They are those who have no qualms parting with a part of their wealth to help the needy and give back to society. And when it is Allah swt who is calling towards the cause, they readily answer to the call with full of enthusiasm.

And what better motivation there is than Allah's promise of the rewards in multiple folds? It is not limited to just monetary, health and harmony in the family. It is also in many other forms of sustenance.

So let us answer to the Almighty's calling, and help our Muslim brethren in need.
The more we give, the more we are rewarded in this Dunya & Hereafter, InsyaAllah. May Allah swt make us amongst His servants who continue to give selflessly & sincerely, and gain His Endless Blessings. Amin.

Qurban Plus 5-in-1 Ibadah in 2026

Alhamdulillah. Aqrab World has successfully carried out the 5-in-1 Ibadah Qurban Plus 2026. As seen in the poster, it includes:
- Slaughtering of Qurban cows
- Gifting of 1kg of meat
- Gifting of 5kg of rice bags

Insha'Allah, soon Aqrab World shall fulfill the remaining 2 gifts. That are:
- Scholarships for 2 students in CAMBODIA UNIVERSITY OF MANAGEMENT & TECHNOLOGY (CUMT).
- Gift of 3 Beef cattles to MADRASAH RAUDHATUL ULUM ADDENIYAH, Kg Cham for breeding purposes to support Assatizah allowances.

A total of 9 locations in Cambodia have benefited from the Qurban meat and rice distribution.
