Delighted to welcome International Finance Corporation (IFC) Managing Director Makhtar Diop on his recent visit to Singapore to deliver a special address at the Asia Infrastructure Forum.
It was good to meet Makhtar again, following our discussion at the World Bank–IMF Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C. earlier this year.
Singapore and IFC share a strong and longstanding partnership. Building on our earlier conversations, we discussed how we can deepen collaboration on private capital mobilisation to support growth and connectivity across our region. As we look ahead to Singapore’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2027, there will be valuable opportunities to strengthen such regional partnerships.

From 11 June, all Singaporean households will receive $500 in CDC Vouchers to help defray daily expenses. This was brought forward from January 2027, in light of the developing situation in the Middle East and its impact on cost pressures.
You may visit go.gov.sg/cdcv to redeem your CDC Vouchers. Only one household member needs to claim the vouchers on behalf of the household by logging in with Singpass.
