80 years of the Italian Republic 🇮🇹
A decision taken in 1946 reshaped Italy’s democratic path and laid the foundations of the country we know today, through a historic referendum that also marked the first national vote in which Italian women exercised their right to vote.
This anniversary is not only about history, but also about people — in Italy and within the Italian community in Singapore 🇸🇬 — who continue every day to promote the culture, values and excellence of our country.
A shared heritage that continues to evolve, guided by the principles at the heart of the Republic.
“You are part of a community that is strong in its roots and united under the sign of our beloved tricolour. A community that looks to the future with confidence, courage and talent and that carries the best image of Italy around the world" — Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Happy Italian Republic Day ✨
