🧠Participants Needed: Study on Chewing & Brain Health (Aged 60–80)
We are looking for English-speaking adults aged 60–80 to join a study exploring whether chewing may support cognition and brain health.
👥 What you’ll do:
- Chew provided products (gummies & oral aligners)
- Provide saliva samples
- Complete simple cognitive tests
📍 Location:
A*STAR Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnology Innovation @ Nanos, 31 Biopolis Way S138669 (7-min walk from Buona Vista MRT)
⏳ Duration:~3 weeks (home - based) + 2 on-site visits
🚶♂️ Visit 1 (On-site):
Surveys, body & oral measurements, cognitive tests, and receive study materials
🏠 At-home period:
- Baseline: 2 days saliva collection (4×/day) + 1 mobile cognitive test
- Intervention 1: 4 days chewing product → saliva collection + cognitive test
- Washout: 1 week normal routine
- Intervention 2: 4 days chewing product → saliva collection + cognitive test
🚶♀️ Visit 2 (On-site):
Return samples
💰 Reimbursement: $120 upon completion
