Announcement for a Personal Assistant position at Embassy of Greece.

Ο Πρέσβης της Ελλάδας στη Σιγκαπούρη, κ. Χριστόδουλος Μαργαρίτης, κατέθεσε στις 2 Ιουνίου 2026, στην Διεύθυνση Διεθνών Οργανισμών του Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών της Σιγκαπούρης (θεματοφύλακας), το πρωτότυπο Όργανο Προσχώρησης της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας στη Συμφωνία Περιφερειακής Συνεργασίας για την καταπολέμηση της Πειρατείας και της Ένοπλης Ληστείας εναντίον Πλοίων στην Ασία (ReCAAP). Η Ελλάδα γίνεται το 22ο συμβαλλόμενο μέλος της ReCAAP και το 5ο κράτος-μέλος της Ε.Ε. μετά τις Δανία, Γερμανία, Ολλανδία και Νορβηγία.

The Ambassador of Greece to Singapore, Mr. Christodoulos Margaritis, deposited on 2nd June 2026, with the Directorate of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore (depositary), the original Instrument of Accession of the Hellenic Republic to the Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia (ReCAAP). Greece becomes the 22nd contracting party to the ReCAAP and the 5th member-state of EU after Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Norway.

Our Embassy participated at the 35th European Film Festival, on 16th May, with the film "Stelios", directed by Yorgos Tsemberopoulos and starring Christos Mastoras.
The film received warm reviews by the audience!

We would like to thank, once again, the EU, the Film Society and the Filmhouse for organizing the festival, the production company of the movie "Tanweer", as well as the Greek Tourism Organization and Municipality of Santorini for the promotional videos.

Ως εκ τούτου, οι ενδιαφερόμενοι θα πρέπει να προβούν στις απαιτούμενες ενέργειες για την έκδοση ελληνικού διαβατηρίου ή την έκδοση νέου τύπου αστυνομικής ταυτότητας.

Υπενθυμίζεται ότι το αίτημα για έκδοση νέου τύπου αστυνομικής ταυτότητας μπορεί να υποβληθεί μόνον στην Ελλάδα (Ελληνική Αστυνομία), μέσω της ψηφιακής πλατφόρμας gov.gr (https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/polites-kai-kathemerinoteta/stoikheia-polite-kai-tautopoietika-eggrapha/id), ενώ το αίτημα για έκδοση ελληνικού διαβατηρίου μπορεί να υποβληθεί στο Προξενικό Γραφείο της Αρχής μας.

We would like to inform you that after 03/08/2026 the old type police identity card ceases to be valid as a travel document.

Therefore, interested parties should take the necessary steps to issue a Greek passport or a new type police identity card.

Please note that the request for the issuance of a new type of police identity card can only be submitted in Greece (Hellenic Police), through the gov.gr digital platform (https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/polites-kai-kathemerinoteta/stoikheia-polite-kai-tautopoietika-eggrapha/id), while the request for the issuance of a Greek passport can be submitted to the Consular Office of our Embassy.
