As part of IRAS’ ongoing efforts to make tax processes more seamless and efficient, we are enhancing the way companies interact with us.
The ‘Revise/Object to Assessment’ digital service allows companies to conveniently submit all necessary information at once, enabling faster finalisation of tax matters.
From 1 July 2027, all companies will be required to use IRAS’‘Revise/Object to Assessment’ digital service for these submissions. This proposed change will undergo public consultation as part of the Finance (Income Taxes) Bill 2026. In the meantime, companies and tax agents are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the digital service.

⚠️ Beware of emails asking you to pay a tax penalty
We have received reports on phishing emails with the subject headings “Official Notice of Tax Demand & Penalty” and “Tax Penalty – Under-declaration of Income”, sent by scammers impersonating IRAS officers. The phishing emails falsely claim that you have under-declared your income and contain suspicious links that may lead to a phishing website or download malware on your device.
IRAS notices and letters on confidential tax matters are accessible securely via myTax Portal. If you receive such an email, do not click on any links or download any attachments or programmes.
