Can you AI-dentify the term? 🤔🤖
Embodied AI comprises AI systems that can interact with the real world through a physical body, such as robots and autonomous vehicles. 🚗
While embodied AI can improve productivity, it may also face physical hardware limitations and unpredictable real-world environments.
This is why human oversight, robust safety measures, and testing and regulatory frameworks remain essential in deploying AI safely and responsibly. 💡

Trusted AI is key to Singapore's next phase of growth. 🚀
The Trusted Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence, launched by KPMG Singapore and supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board - EDB, aims to help businesses harness AI as a trusted asset. Businesses can make use of KPMG’s Trusted AI Assurance framework as they seek to move from pilots to enterprise-wide deployment, by boosting governance, capability and infrastructure.
Through partnerships like these, we are strengthening Singapore’s standing as a trusted global hub where AI is deployed safely and responsibly. 🌏

Can AI be used to test for empathy? 💻 💜
Social service agency Loving Heart worked with Singapore Institute of Technology to design an online test powered by AI and virtual reality, which assesses how well volunteers can spot safety hazards and engage with seniors, while identifying training needs.
About 50 candidates have taken this test since it was introduced in January as part of SIT’s Centralised Skills Assessment and Validation Initiative (CSAVI).
Under CSAVI, a joint effort with SkillsFuture SG to develop a national standard for testing professional skills, skills assessments are being developed for the hospitality and technology sectors as well.
By harnessing AI and immersive technologies, such initiatives support skills-based hiring, while empowering individuals to take charge of their learning. 💡

Think your partial NRIC number is enough to accurately tell you apart? Think again 👀
Many people share the same partial NRIC number, and some even share the same name.
That’s why Government agencies will use your full NRIC number when needed to accurately tell you apart from others.
