🌙🦉 A new home… for our little friends at Kaomai
If you look closely around certain corners of the Kaomai Educational Forest Area, you may notice a “small house” placed on our trees.
This is a nest box, thoughtfully designed for nocturnal birds of prey found in our area, such as owls and barn owls, as well as small creatures like flying squirrels that share this habitat with us. 🐿️🌿

This project reflects our intention to create a space that supports wildlife, allowing them to safely settle and make use of the area without disturbance.
For now, we’re excitedly waiting to see who will become the first resident of this new home. In the future, we plan to install day-and-night cameras to observe and learn more about wildlife behavior up close, while continuing to respect their natural habitat as much as possible.

One of our signature offerings, this Assam green tea from Chiang Rai is aged for over a year, then roasted with locally sourced niam leaves and gently rounded with vanilla pods. It offers a soft, aromatic profile reminiscent of freshly steamed rice—cooling, refreshing, and perfect for hot days.
A flavor appreciated not only by our Thai guests, but also by visitors from Japan and China—true tea cultures—who enjoy its delicate balance and unique character.

Lemon Blended (from Our Garden)
Fresh lemons from our own garden bring a naturally bright aroma, blended with syrup and ice, then enhanced with finely grated lemon flesh for a smooth, well-balanced citrus finish. Topped with a slice of lemon for an extra touch of freshness.

🌼🐝 Meet the newest members of our Kaomai family
If you take a stroll around our garden these days, you might notice some tiny friends flying from flower to flower. They are stingless bees and honey bees, our new little residents who have moved in to help pollinate the flowers, trees, and fruit gardens throughout the resort. 🌸🍃
This small project began when we discovered stingless bees and bees naturally living within our resort area. So, we decided to create proper hives and invited a speaker from the Department of Agricultural Extension (DOAE) to share knowledge with our gardening team and staff.
Not only do these tiny friends help make our gardens more vibrant and healthier, they will also produce honey and stingless bee nectar for us to enjoy in the future. 🍯
We’ll continue sharing updates about their journey, stay tuned and come see the wonderful work of our new little friends. 🐝✨

Rongbom Cafe, Tao Cha Tea House, and Poliang Bistro remain open and operating daily as usual.

However, tomorrow (Mar, 10th) from approximately 100 PM – 5:00 PM, there will be an internal electrical system maintenance. During this time, hot beverage menus and some electrical services within the area will be temporarily unavailable.
All other menu items, as well as the semi-outdoor and outdoor seating areas, will remain available as usual.
