Nästa vecka anordnar generalkonsulatet, i samarbete med SWEA-nätverket, en informationsträff inför riksdagsvalet 2026.
Träffen riktar sig till dig som ska rösta för första gången, eller som vill få mer information om hur röstning utomlands går till.

Time to Send Project Proposals for 2027! 📣 The Consulate General of Sweden in Istanbul supports projects promoting cooperation between Sweden and Türkiye in the areas of human rights, democracy, rule of law and gender equality as part of the Strategy for Sweden’s reform cooperation with Eastern Europe, the Western Balkans and Türkiye 2026–2030 and the reform agenda - Development assistance for a new era. The overarching goal of the stategy is to support EU integration.

Officially registered civil society organisations are invited to apply by submitting a concept note by 24 July 2026. More information can be found in the link in bio.

Stängning av honorärkonsulat i Mersin
Mişel Şaşati går efter många år som honorärkonsul i Mersin i pension den 30 juni 2026. Konsulatet i Mersin kommer i samband med detta att avveckla sin verksamhet. Vi vill uppriktigt tacka konsul Şaşati för hans engagerade insatser för Sverige i Mersin.
Ev. frågor kan ställas till generalkonsulatet i Istanbul.

Sharing some highlights from our National Day Celebrations at the Swedish Palace in Istanbul!🇸🇪🇹🇷

Local partners, diplomatic community and Turkish protocol participating in our celebrations. Guests enjoying Swedish tastes such as köttbullar (Swedish köfte), gravad lax (cured salmon) and kladdkaka (sticky cake). Jazz band performing live Swedish hits and classics. Some guests were also photographed with the Midsummer flower crowns! 💐
