Recently, the Director of the Information and Communication Technology Department at the Prime Minister's Office of Tanzania Augustino Tendwa published an article tiled One-China Principle: A Shared History, Diplomatic Realities, and the Hope for Future Cooperation in the Guardian. It highlights that there is but one China in the world and Taiwan is part of China & one-China principle has become the universal consensus of the international community and a basic norm governing international relations.

On 10 June, on the occasion of the second International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations, the China Institute of International Studies officially released report China’s Actions for Advancing Global Dialogue Among Civilizations. It further reviews and summarizes China's experience, practices and major achievements in promoting the implementation of the Global Civilization Initiative and facilitating global dialogue among civilizations.

Today marks the second International Day for Dialogue Among Civilizations. As the initiator, China, together with the UN and other international organizations, held a variety of events across the globe. China will work with all parties to take it as an opportunity to draw wisdom through dialogue among civilizations to tackle global challenges and embrace more partners so as to build a community with a shared future for humanity.

China's foreign trade in goods rose 15.3% year-on-year in the first five months of 2026 to 20.68 trillion yuan, according to the General Administration of Customs. The data showed that China's foreign trade in yuan-denominated terms grew 16.9% year-on-year in May.
