📻 Community radio production that debates vital gender issues gets underway as part of the “Inspire to Lead! Change Begins with Me!” campaign under the Gender Transformative Action Programme: Breaking the Glass ceiling.
Trained journalists across📍Tanzania are working with 13 radio stations ranging from Afya Radio in Mwanza to Highlands FM in Mbeya developing specific content on gender equality, women’s empowerment, and gender norms.
The Gender Transformative Action Programme: Breaking the Glass ceiling is led by the Ministry of Community Development, Gender, Women and Special Groups and funded by the European Union.

Discussions focused on:

At the Zanzibar Investment Summit , Dorota Panczyk-Piqueray, Head of Economics and Governance at the EU Delegation to Tanzania, highlighted the European Union and Tanzania renewed partnership aiming to deliver on shared priorities and mutual interests to deliver sustainable and inclusive growth, local value addition and job creation, in particular for women and youth.
Through , the EU offer combines high-quality investment in key sectors such as renewable energy, agricultural value chains, critical minerals, digital connectivity and transport with skills development, high standards and support to regulatory framework and governance bringing together financiers and European investors to local businesses.
