When the 4th Infantry Division needed a capability to remotely monitor beyond line-of-sight dead spaces they contacted the experts: Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PdM FPS).

To meet the challenge, PdM FPS moved fast to provide equipment and training on the Expendable Unattended Ground Sensor (E-UGS). These small, seismic sensors are buried in the ground, giving Army small maneuver units the power to detect mounted and dismounted targets.

Leadership. Innovation. Service.

Last week, the Army recognized Maj. Charles Rapp during his retirement ceremony at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, celebrating over two decades of distinguished Army service.

From advancing the Army's transformational Launched Effects Program to helping critical missions stay on track during times of uncertainty, Maj Rapp's leadership made a lasting impact.

Recently, a significant shift in the Army’s cyber acquisition landscape took place as PM Cyber & Space conducted a Change of Charter Ceremony that combined two distinct portfolios, Product Manager Information Warfare Cyber Development and Product Manager Information Warfare Cyber Infrastructure, into Product Manager Offensive Cyber Warfare—a unified entity aimed at streamlining the delivery of offensive cyber capabilities to the cyber warrior.

During the event, Lt. Col. Micah DiGrezio (formerly PdM Information Warfare Cyber Development) and Lt. Col. Jonathan Talis (formerly PdM Information Warfare Cyber Infrastructure) transitioned their responsibilities to Product Manager Offensive Cyber Warfare, led by Lt. Col. Erik Kifune.

Congrats all!

Product Director Combat Terrain Information Systems (PD CTIS) briefed Maj. Gen. Christopher G. Beck on the future of Army reconnaissance during the 2026 Protection and Maneuver Support Combined Industry Exhibition and Senior Leader Forum, held last month at .

PD CTIS demonstrated to Beck the latest version of ENFIRE (Instrument Set, Reconnaissance and Surveying) and the Advanced Reconnaissance Kit Family of Systems (ARK FoS) Engineer surrogate prototype (ARK-EN).

Beck provided PD CTIS guidance on how he envisions the future capabilities being leveraged in the field. This was great validation that PD CTIS is on the right track with ARK FoS – great work team!

Dominate the Spectrum.

TLS Manpack gets after electronic attack and electronic support, helping commanders leverage the electromagnetic spectrum to their advantage.

The system was fielded to the 4th Infantry Division at Ft. Carson as part of NGC2 prototyping events.

CPE ISW Chief of Staff Kyle Perkins delivered the closing keynote speech for Day 2 of the annual AFCEA Belvoir Industry Days.

Perkins discussed how the CPE is realigning in conjunction with the Army’s new PAE structure and acquisition reforms.

“We must evolve our acquisition enterprise to be faster, more complex, and more connected than ever before to keep pace with modern warfare,” said Perkins. “The reform delivers faster results, clearer accountability, and stronger collaboration that drives Army readiness and modernization at pace.”

He also highlighted CPE ISW’s dynamic portfolio of systems that support the Soldier.

“Our systems are leveraged at every echelon – we’re learning daily about the value they bring to the active fight,” Perkins said. “The CPE is responsible for a combination of approximately 80 programs of record and quick reaction capabilities.”
