To the residents of the Village of Aberdeen, I am announcing that our spring cleanup will occur from May 1st to 3rd. During this period, a dumpster will be available at 240 Budig Drive. I encourage you to utilize this opportunity to organize your properties. The Village of Aberdeen Ordinance and the Ohio Basic Code, which pertain to grass, weeds, trash, litter, and other issues, have been made available. We will initiate enforcement of these regulations next week. I acknowledge the cooperation of residents who have previously addressed these concerns. Nevertheless, some properties remain non-compliant. I request that all residents assume responsibility for maintaining their properties. Non-compliance will result in a citation, followed by a 10-day period for resolution. A subsequent citation will incur a fine of $100 or more, regardless of compliance. I express gratitude to residents who have demonstrated a commitment to property maintenance. I encourage all residents to contribute to this effort. If you have inquiries or concerns, please contact me at 937-795-2212 ext. 202. Sincerely, Village Mayor William Eastwood.
