๐๐ April is Autism Awareness Month ๐๐
This April, our department proudly stands in support of Autism Awareness Monthโa time to recognize, understand, and celebrate individuals on the autism spectrum and the families who support them every day.
As first responders, we are committed to serving everyone in our community with compassion, patience, and respect. We understand that emergency situations can be especially overwhelming for individuals with autism, and we continue to train and grow so we can better meet their unique needs.
We encourage our community to join us in promoting acceptance, inclusion, and kindnessโnot just this month, but every day. A little understanding can make a big difference. ๐
If your family has specific needs or would like to connect with our department to help us better serve you, please donโt hesitate to reach out. Weโre here for you.
