THE CITY OF ABERDEEN WILL START HYDRANT MAINTENANCE, FLOW TESTING AND FLUSHING BEGINNING MONDAY, MAY 4, 2026. THIS WILL CONTINUE FOR APPROXIMATELY EIGHT WEEKS.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch beginning Monday, December 8th - Thursday, December 11th. In order to better prepare for these events, the City of Aberdeen Public Works Department has a sandbag station available. Please be prepared to fill your own bag(s). Sandbags and a shovel are available.
Location: 1301 Hood St, Aberdeen, WA 98520 - Follow the signs.
Hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM - Plan to arrive by 4:00 PM.
Weekends: Contact the city after hours line for assistance: (360) 533-5817.

Public Comment Opportunity through November 12, 2025
The City of Aberdeen wants your feedback on the draft Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan for the facilities in the Public Right-of-Way.
This plan identifies existing deficiencies and provides a framework on how to address physical access barriers at curb ramps, sidewalks, and other pedestrian facilities.
