Today marked another successful year of our annual Beat the Heat event! ☀️🌬️
For more than 25 years, we have proudly partnered with TXU Energy to help keep our community cool during the scorching Texas summers. This year, we distributed 230 fans to 19 local nonprofit partners, who will help get them into the hands of those who need them most.

With temperatures expected to reach the triple digits today and tomorrow, it's more important than ever to take precautions and stay safe in the heat.

What a wonderful weekend at the United Way this weekend!

🐾📚 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for CALF's Read to a Dog! We loved seeing children interact with some very special four-legged friends while building confidence and strengthening their reading skills.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers for giving their time and helping make this event a success. We are also incredibly grateful to Hendrick's Pet Enhanced Therapy Dogs for bringing their wonderful therapy dogs and helping create such a welcoming, encouraging environment for our young readers.
