The Largemouth Bass population in Lake Daniel is looking great! Our team spent the day sampling the lake via electrofishing and the results were incredible!
There were many bass between 4-7 pounds sampled (a few of the best pictured). We also sampled many legal size White Bass and White Crappie!
Boat access to the lake is severely limited as water levels remain very low. If you choose to launch a boat please use extreme caution.

This past weekend, our team partnered with TXBASS Nation, Brown County Water Improvement District, Reservoir Fish Habitat Partnership, TX Pro Lake Management, and Black Bass Stewardship Group to improve habitat at Lake Brownwood. Several structures were deployed into the reservoir to create habitat for popular sport fishing and prey in the reservoir, especially when the lake drops in water level due to drought. Not only will these structures provide cover for fish, but they will also help with angler catch rates. We are very grateful for all the support that we had from all of our volunteers.
