With speed, strength, endurance and the will to carry on, the 317th Airlift Group commander placed second overall and first in his age group during his first full marathon Nov. 2.
Col. Jeffrey Brown, has been running for many years, but what he didn't know is that years down the road it would lead to his first successful marathon with a time of 3 hours and 34 minutes. Brown ran with his executive officer Maj. Chad Overton and about 750 other runners.
