I’ve served from both sides of the system — in law enforcement and in civil rights work — so I don’t just talk about what’s broken. I’ve seen it firsthand. And I know what real accountability looks like.
In Congress, I’ll fight to protect rights, strengthen public safety the right way, and make government work for the people again.

Outsiders (politicians) will NEVER understand the people of our area...EVER. It's easy to throw up a dartboard and decide where to run for office. It's easy to raise vast sums of money when you come from a family with deep connections. It's easy to hire consultants to tell you what to do and say.

You know what's *not* easy? LIVING the life that thousands of our neighbors live/lived. Walking a mile in their shoes. Knowing what it's like to be on the verge of financial ruin after a medical emergency in the family. Staying IN the community and getting to know folks by name and their situation.

Sure, I've run for office a couple of times. I was green. I was new to the scene. I took some bad advice. At the end of the day, it was on me, though. This time is different. I learned from those mistakes.

I have a burning, unyielding desire to HELP people. I'm not in this game to get rich. It's easy to do as we have seen with VanDrew's wealth...I've got all that I need in my FAMILY. That is where I'm rich.

I want to win this thing so I can use personal experience to make the lives of people in our district - people that I know, understand, and CARE about...better.

That's it. That's my motivation. I've put everything aside to focus on this campaign because I genuinely believe we can make a difference together.

We have no political consultants. It's my wife, me, and a small circle of close advisors whom I trust. We don't have the political money machine behind us because they know I won't do their bidding.

I'm just a guy with a passion for people who has lived and worked and cared about this area my entire life. I'm humbly asking for your vote - or at the very least to check me out and what I stand for. I guarantee that even if we are on opposite sides of the aisle, we can find common ground!
