City water is back on.

The City water supply may be off for a few hours on Monday June 11th for a planned water line repair. Plan ahead by storing a few gallons of water to pour in your toilet to aid in flushing and fill water bottles for drinking and cooking. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank You Lahela Aguilar for presenting information to the Ackerly City Council, about water conservation, in a speech titled "One Water", at the May Council Meeting.

The break in the water line is repaired. Please slowly let the air out of your water lines. As a precaution boil water before drinking for at leat 24 hours.

FYI. Seismic trucks will be operating outside the City Limits of Ackerly. There should not be any trucks driving through town. Residents on the leading edge of the city limits may need to secure item on tables or walls. Thank you

Cell service is restored. Thank you to the technician from Hobbs, NM that found the problem.

TCEQ - Texas Commision on Environmental Quality, is asking for all residents in Texas to voluntarily begin conserving water. Below is a letter with some suggestions for both the municipality and residents. Ackerly, has good potable water for consumption and we are doing what we can to adequately provide the residents of Ackerly. Please help us by doing yours. Thank You
