Join us on Tuesday, June 16th, for the Acton Emergency Preparedness Fair! Come learn how the Town of Acton prepares for emergencies such as flooding and extreme heat, and what resources are available to YOU, the Acton community. We will also have free food and activities for the whole family, including a scavenger hunt, prizes, a library pop-up, and the opportunity to check out the Town's electric emergency vehicles!

***Sudbury Road Detour***
Due to large equipment in the roadway at the intersection of Powder Mill Road and Sudbury Road, all traffic for Sudbury Road will be detoured through the Stratus parking lot. Please follow signage for access to the Acton Senior Center. The detour should end around 2pm.

No, the Acton Water District has not started a landscaping business. This is an example of the challenging digging conditions our staff encounter when doing routine maintenence. Not shown in the photo are an actively leaking service line, a gas service on top of the water line, and a large rock sitting on the hydrant branch. Thanks to our staff for sticking at for multiple days to repair this leak!

**Traffic Alert for Central Street**
Central Street at #117 will be closed for track replacement starting Friday 5/29 at 4 PM. Work should be completed by Saturday at 3PM

A water main break has occured near 420 Arlington Street. Many customers in the area are experiencing discolored water and/or no water at all. We have turned off the water from Notre Dame to Kingman Road in order to isolate the break. We are currently onsite and repairs will begin today. The current rainy pattern is welcome here in as it has a better chance of infiltrating! Although drought still exists in the region, our PFAS upgrades and maintenance work are going well. The current water use restriction is now at level 3, allowing one day per week of lawn watering and other outdoor uses on an odd/even basis.
