THE FRONT STEPS OLD AND NEW.......Around 140 years ago the McCuddy home underwent a major remodel project. The full second story was added, the front porch now, the bay front, the 1805 kitchen torn down and built back on the opposite side of the house. The stone front steps over years of weather and wear had gotten in bad and dangerous shape, plus dangerous for public or any foot traffic. Recently, we have built a more safe set of steps over the old stone steps still in place. We would like to share some of the family history and pictures of this.
