Our thoughts go out to the family of Molly Fritz who was a member of the Adamstown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Mary Ann (Molly) Fritz of Denver, age 94, left to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
Molly was born in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, to the late Pierce and Ada Lesher and was the wife of the late Eugene "Gene" Fritz.
Molly worked at Cinderella and Keystone Nightwear. She was involved with St. Paul’s Adamstown Church Council, Ladies Auxiliary of the Adamstown VFW and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Adamstown Fire Company. She was a Girl Scout leader, and den mother of Pack 61 in Adamstown. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards, and reading.
In addition to her late husband Gene, Molly is survived by four children: her daughter, Teresa, with whom she lived, sons Timothy (wife Linda), Ted (wife Cheryl) and Todd (wife Trudy). A son, Thomas, predeceased her. She also has grandchildren: Eric, Ben, Amy, Ryan, Dylan, Dereck, Kayla, Sean, and Kim. She has six great grandchildren. Molly also had eight siblings who predeceased her: Richard Farlow, Chester Witman, Pierce Lesher, Jr., Fred Lesher, Walter Lesher, Charles Lesher, Samuel Lesher, and Joann Schlegel.

A special Thank You to Adamstown Borough Council for their continued support of emergency services and the Adamstown Fire Company. During 2025, Borough Council members committed 40% of the funding assistance, to complete the $152,000 project for the mandatory transition of all Adamstown Fire Company mobile and portable radios that operate on the 911 Communications Division Lancaster County Department of Public Safety APCO P25 Phase II radio system. During the month of May the final equipment was installed on the apparatus.

Engine 11 with a crew of 5 assisted Cumru Twp Fire Station 42 on this structure fire Saturday morning. The Engine staged at secondary water source, while crews proceeded to assist at the scene.
