Here is a sneak peak at our favorite update that is still in progress! I think we spent 90% of our weekend hanging out on the new lakeside porch!

As I had previously mentioned... we have been hard at work on some much needed cottage updates and I am happy to say, they are coming to a close! Here are some of the "after pics" (see below for the "befores"!)...

Well... while I have been slacking on posts, we have been busy little bees doing some much needed cosmetic updates at the cottage! Here are some of the before/construction photos... stay tuned for the finished product! (and on a side note, the docks are in, Yay for summer!)

Crazy busy lake life not your thing? That's okay! Come stay at the Cottage on Clarks Cove during a nice quiet peaceful week. Take a trip to Cherry Creek Schoolhouse Winery in Cement City (11 minute drive)... bring back a tasty bottle of wine to enjoy lakeside. Later in the week visit The Croswell Opera House in Adrian (25 minute drive.) May 5th - 17th the Croswell is showing Into The Woods and June 12th - 28th they are showing Mary Poppins.

Did you know that Bundy Hill ATV/ORV Riding Trails are only 17 minutes from the Cottage on Clarks Cove? Haul your 4-wheelers on over there and then come back for a nice dip in the lake to wash of the sand, dust and mud. (Note: All ATV/ORV's must stay loaded on your truck/trailer while at the cottage.)

High of 44 degrees today! Get your grills out and prepped for some summer BBQ'ing. Stop at McAuliffe's Meat Market on your way to our Cottage on Clarks Cove and do your grilling lakeside!

Spring is in the air... and summer is just around the corner! Hooray for next week's 50 degree forecast! Don't forget Hidden Lakes Garden Plant Sale is May 8th & 9th. What a great way to start the summer, a nice leisurely week vacation at Devils Lake and a car full of beautiful plants and flowers to take home and put in your own garden!

Are you a NASCAR fan??? The 2015 Sprint Cup Series at Michigan International Speedway is June 12th - 14th and August 14th - 16th... and wouldn't you know it, the Cottage on Clarks Cove is still available both of those weekends and only a stones throw away from MIS!
