Yesterday, Chief Freis swore in Officer Quintana and Officer Winston, who come to us from Dallas PD with 2 years of experience. We’re glad to have them on the team and in our community!
Both Officers will begin field training in the coming weeks. If you see them, be sure to give them a big Addison welcome!

In May, our officers were hard at work serving our community. They conducted 970 traffic stops, answered 1,431 calls for service, and investigated 18 vehicle crashes.
That work led to 101 arrests and 234 new cases, including 49 property crimes, 12 financial and fraud cases, and 34 crimes against persons.
We appreciate you staying informed, reporting concerns, and partnering with us to help keep our community safe.

Our Battle of the Badges Blood Drive last Friday was a huge success, thanks to our incredible community and public safety partners.
On behalf of the Addison Police and Fire Departments, we want to thank every donor who took time out of their day to roll up a sleeve and potentially save a life. Your support means more than you know, and it reflects the true spirit of Addison.
We are proud to stand alongside our fellow first responders in a friendly competition that makes such a meaningful impact. Whether you donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word, you helped make this event a success, and we are truly grateful.
Fire won the voting 10–8, giving them the victory in this competition. Hope they enjoy the win while they can, as we gear up for the next one!
