Books & Bites: Short Reads for Grown-Ups is a cozy, low-pressure reading and discussion group for adults who enjoy good stories and tasty treats. Each session features a short poem, article, or piece of flash fiction that we'll explore together. Participants can read, listen, snack, doodle, or simply relax while enjoying a few quick bites. This program is for adults ages 18+.

Stop by for a literary escape on Wednesdays, June 24, July 8, and July 22 at 10 a.m. at the East Library & Recreation Center.

Forget to log your reading? It's easy to backdate your Discover Summer reading all at once in the Beanstack app!

Video Description: Video depicts how to retroactively log Discover Summer reading. Open the Beanstack App and press the Plus button. Select the Reading button, then the Log Without a Title button. Select the Change button and choose all past dates that you wish to log reading. Press the Save Date button, then the Done button. Beanstack will record your past reading.

Arlington Public Library is honored to announce we've earned the Texas Library Association H-E-B Summer at the Library Grant to enhance our Discover Summer program. This $2,500 grant will let us add new and enhanced programs to our summer line up. A huge thank you to the Texas Library Association and H-E-B for supporting literacy in Texas communities!
