Congratulations are in order for Midtown Band alumnus and sophomore at UGA Jayden Lin for being chosen as section leader for the Red Coats marching band . This is an amazing accomplishment for a sophomore musician .

We have an MVP All-Star!

McKenzie Godfrey was selected to participate in the GACA All-Star Game. The two teams are made up of players selected from all over the state of Georgia. Not only did she compete but earned MVP honors. We are very proud of her, and she will make the University of Kentucky proud next year!

Shoutout to Dr Bockman and Dr Erickson APS dept of fine arts for their continued support of our ever-growing band program at Midtown.

Family Faculty Flex Day at Midtown. Hopefully they will all be Midtown grads and maybe we have some future Midtown teachers in the making.

Midtown was one of the 320 quiz bowl teams that competed at the NAQT (National Academic Quiz Tournaments) High School National Championship Tournament over Memorial Day weekend, held here in Atlanta.



Although we were not victorious, our team played well against the best teams in the country and showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the tournament rounds.
