Today and every day, we honor the women who have served and continue to serve our nation and communities. This day commemorates the signing of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act, which enabled women to serve as permanent, regular members of the U.S. Armed Forces. 🇺🇸

Yesterday, Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson hosted the fourth annual Women Veterans Luncheon, bringing together women veterans from across the county and the region for an afternoon of reflection, recognition, and connection.

It coincides with the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act signed on June 12, 1948, which allowed women to become permanent members of the U.S. military.

This year’s luncheon, themed Still Serving, honored the lasting impact women veterans make long after their military service ends through leadership, mentorship, advocacy, and service to their communities.

THANK YOU, SISTER VETERANS. 🇺🇸♥️💙

Today, Women Veterans Day, we want to pause and honor every woman who raised her hand to serve.

To the women who served quietly.
To the women who led boldly.
To the women still finding their place after military service.
To the women carrying stories, strength, sacrifice, and resilience every day

We see you. We appreciate you. We celebrate you.

At The Vet Space, we believe healing happens in community. Every hike, conversation, campfire, trail walk, and shared moment reminds us that none of us have to navigate this journey alone.

Thank you for your service.
Thank you for your leadership.
Thank you for continuing to show up for yourselves and for one another.

Today and every day, we honor the women who have worn the uniform and the sisters who continue to serve their communities long after taking it off.

Happy Women Veterans Day sisses 🥾🌄❤️💙🌎.
