City of Atlanta Police Department Recruit Class #300 launched the “Jeans for Teens” Community Service Project with a goal of collecting 300 pairs of jeans for Atlanta residents in need. With the support of the community, the recruits collected 641 pairs of jeans.
Donations were delivered to Lost-N-Found Youth and Solomon’s Temple Foundation to support teens and families across Atlanta, but the impact of the project extended far beyond the donations themselves.
Through service and relationship-building, Recruit Class #300 is already investing in the communities they are preparing to serve.

Building stronger communities goes beyond public safety. 🏡💙
The Atlanta Police Foundation partnered with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and participated in the Carter Work Project at Langston Park! We purchased and helped build a home that will be provided to a City of Atlanta Police Department police officer through our Secure Neighborhoods program. This initiative helps officers live in the communities they serve, strengthening connections between law enforcement and residents.
Projects like this reflect the impact of partnerships that support the men and women who serve Atlanta, both on and off duty, while helping strengthen neighborhoods across our city.
