Monday, June 15 at 2 p.m. on Zoom:
Get ready for a fun and fascinating discussion as we meet author James Solheim and dive into his popular book, It's Disgusting--And We Ate It! Wild and Wacky Food from Around the World--And Throughout History! (DB046925), a hit with reluctant readers ever since it was published in 1998. The author will also talk about two of his more recent books:
- Eat Your Woolly Mammoths!, which follows up with more amazing food facts from the Stone Age to the future, and
- Grandmas Are Greater Than Great, which offers a different take on history, reminding us that we all come from a long line of fascinating people, and that about half of those people are Grandmas with a lot of Greats in front of their names.
After his presentation, Mr. Solheim will answer your questions as time allows. The main part of his talk will be recorded and shared afterward for those who can't make it to the live session, but we will not record the Q&A portion.
Come one, come all! This virtual author visit is open to the general public, and is not restricted to GLS patrons.
Visit the GLS Events Calendar for the Zoom link and other details: https://gls.georgialibraries.org/event/james-solheim/
