The Rotary Club of North Atlanta

We were proud to sponsor two exceptional rising Chamblee High School 10th graders to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership 5 day program in Americas, GA last week.
At our meeting on June 11th Alyssa and Tyler shared highlights of their experiences siting new friendships made, leadership skills developed and confidence gained. We’re so proud of these two young people! They are also both becoming Officers of the Interact Club next year. Way to go Alyssa and Tyler!

Also attending our meeting were two of our four 2026 scholarship recipients, recent graduates of Chamblee High School. Emma will be attending Spelman College majoring in Political Science and pre-law. Aaryan will be attending Georgia State and is interested in the field of medicine.

North Atlanta Rotary came together to Support the local Salvation Army Food Pantry summer program in support of food insecure families and individuals in the Doraville and Chamblee area.

Chamblee High School 2026 graduates receiving their scholarships from North Atlanta Rotary Club Treasurer Barbara Bush. Congratulations Graduates!
Three of our four recipients are members of the Chamblee High School Interact Club, a service club sponsored by the North Atlanta Rotary Club.
We have given scholarships to CHS graduates each year over the last 12 years for a total of $75,500.

Today we celebrated being recognized at the District 6900 Conference in Catagory I Clubs. President Catherine shared the awards for highest per capita giving to the Rotary Foundation, Public Image award, her Sheffield Leadership award, PP Dr. Ralph Peeler’s Service Hero award, and several other club awards recognizing our contributions toward bettering this world, locally and globally through Rotary.

We also recognized several Paul Harris fellows today. Catherine Bernard and Pat Thomas received their first Paul Harris fellow pins, and PP Ralph Sims and PP Ralph Peeler received their new multiple Paul Harris fellow pins.
