Juneteenth reminds us that freedom includes the opportunity to build a future, create generational wealth, and remain rooted in the communities we call home. Through our Legacy Resident Retention Program, we're helping established homeowners like Wendy pay property tax increases through 2030 so they can stay in their homes and share in the benefits and growth the Beltline brings.

Today is about more than just a new segment of Beltline trail. It's about unifying our Southside, Eastside, and Westside Trails, connecting 36 neighborhoods, and providing Atlantans with an easier way to get around the city.

To everyone who celebrated today's ribbon-cutting with us and to anyone who has adventured on the corridor, thank you. We can't wait to keep building out the loop.

Atlanta Beltline Enhances Trail Visibility with New Branded Crosswalks | Beltline 06/11/2026

In case you haven't noticed, Beltline street crossings are getting a refreshed look! ✨ To help support safer conditions for trail users and motorists alike, we've been installing branded crosswalks (designed by local artist Aysha Pennerman) around the 22-mile loop, starting with Westminster Drive on the Northeast Trail and Kirkwood Avenue on the Southeast Trail.

More on the initiative, which ones are coming next, and the schedule for post-World Cup installation below.

Atlanta Beltline Enhances Trail Visibility with New Branded Crosswalks | Beltline As more people use the corridor to walk, bike, roll, and connect across the city, visible street crossings remain a key priority. To support safer conditions for motorists and everyone using the trail, crews have started installing branded crosswalks at intersections around the 22-mile loop.
