Where’s the diversity in Ga.’s transit authority? A seat at the table matters. 06/12/2026

Read my latest op-ed in the AJC. I am deeply concerned about the lack of diversity on Georgia's new transportation board that replaced the ATL and GRTA. So far there is 0 minority representation and 0 South Metro representation.

Where’s the diversity in Ga.’s transit authority? A seat at the table matters. Gov. Brian Kemp appointed members to the new Georgia Transportation Efficiency Authority who do not reflect the diversity of places where transit ridership is highest.
