Lunch & Learn Success!

Today our new hires at the Clifton location dove into hands‑on lesson‑planning training, and they absolutely shined. After lunch, teachers split into two collaborative groups—one building a Project Web and the other creating a KWL Chart.

Each team designed its own investigation to study, showing creativity, curiosity, and strong instructional instincts. We’re excited to see these ideas come to life in their classrooms. Welcome to the team educators! Your journey is just beginning!

We had an exciting in‑house field trip this Tuesday, June 9, 2026, with the Chattahoochee Nature Center, and our Clifton Site classrooms were buzzing with curiosity and discovery all week long!

The children were thrilled to meet a live corn snake and learn all about what it eats. They also explored the differences between a bear claw and an alligator claw, using open‑ended questions to think, compare, and share their ideas.

Our friends from Chattahoochee Nature Center showed amazing photos of jungle animals, sparking even more conversation about habitats, textures, and sounds. To top it off, Ms. Tiffany shared a special read‑aloud of Who’s Playing in the Jungle? with our Infants and Toddler 1 classrooms.

It has truly been a fun and engaging week learning about Jungle and Safari animals here at Clifton.

Happy Early Father's Day!

This morning, Clifton School hosted a special Early Father's Day Breakfast to celebrate and honor the amazing fathers and father figures in our community. Fathers enjoyed spending quality time eating breakfast with their children and creating special memories together.

As a token of our appreciation, each father received a small gift to thank them for their love, support, and involvement in their children's lives.

Thank you to all of our wonderful fathers for everything you do. We wish you a very Happy Father's Day and hope you enjoy your special weekend! 💙👔☕🥐

Congratulations to Ms. Brenda for being awarded Teacher Extraordinaire for the 3rd Quarter! This recognition is a reflection of your dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence. Thank you for all that you do each day to support the children and families we serve. Your positive impact, caring spirit, and unwavering support make a difference in the lives of so many.

Today, we wished Arlene, our Assistant Director, a heartfelt farewell. She will truly be missed, and we wish her nothing but success and happiness in all of her future endeavors. Arlene has been a dedicated and valued asset to the Clifton School, and her hard work, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact on both staff and students.

Today, we celebrated Arlene with warm hugs, light refreshments, and heartfelt well wishes as we reflected on the many contributions she has made during her time with us. While we are sad to see her go, we are grateful for the time we shared and the positive difference she made in our school community.

Thank you, Arlene, for all that you have done. You will always be a part of the Clifton family, and we wish you all the best on your new journey! 💙

The Clairmont Clifton School pre-k classrooms had a blast for their field day at Lullwater Preserve. After a little hike, friends played Tug of war, bubbles, Frisbee, parachute games, Velcro ball, and kickball. After all the fun friends cooled off in the shade with juice boxes! Thank you to all of our teachers and parent volunteers for making this day exciting and fun.

Today, Clifton celebrated a special bridging ceremony for our Pre-K students and those who will be leaving the school. We are so proud of all of our children and excited for their next journey!

After the celebration, the children enjoyed pizza, cupcakes, and other tasty snacks. They also had an amazing time playing at the carnival with their friends. It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and wonderful memories.

We had so much fun celebrating together today! Thank you for being a part of our Clifton family. 💙

Big splashes and important lessons at The Clifton School Clairmont!

We were excited to welcome Goldfish Swim School to speak with our preschoolers about swim safety! Our students learned valuable tips about staying safe in and around the water while having lots of fun along the way. From practicing safe pool behaviors to learning what to do in an emergency, our little learners were engaged and eager to participate.

A huge thank you to Goldfish Swim School for helping us build confidence, awareness, and water safety skills in such an interactive and kid-friendly way! 💙☀️

We are so thankful for our incredible teachers and staff here at TCS-Clairmont! Their hard work, dedication, and love for our students mean everything to our school community. 💙

We kicked off Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week with a sweet Ice Cream Social to celebrate all they do for children and their families each and every day! 🍦✨

Picnic Day 2026 at Clifton School (Clifton Site)

Our students had a wonderful time celebrating Picnic Day! The children enjoyed sitting outside on their blankets, soaking up the fresh air and sunshine. Some listened to music while others had fun playing games with balls. There were lots of smiles and laughter all around!

A big thank you to all the parents who helped make this day run smoothly by sending in blankets. We also want to thank our wonderful chefs for preparing the food. Your support truly made a difference and helped create a relaxing and enjoyable experience for the children.
