Partnerships for Children (PFC) is dedicated to helping Child Protective Services (CPS) caseworkers

As a nonprofit in Central Texas, Partnerships For Children leads a collection of programs that offer resources, support and comfort for foster children and families in our community. Our accessibility to Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, efficient practices and ability to connect with kids at all stages in their lives allow us to better serve those who need us most by providing real and impactful solutions.

Austin Community College District collected 54 suitcases to donate to Travis County's Preparation for Adult Living (PAL) program! PAL provides skills and resources to teens ahead of their departure from DFPS services, helping them prepare for adulthood and independence. ๐ŸŽ’ Thanks, ACC!

Having a place to store personal items brings dignity for kids and teens in the care of CPS as they move through the foster care system. Weโ€™re always accepting new or gently used suitcases and duffel bags in the Rainbow Room!

A huge thank you to NCL volunteers (National Charity League, Inc., Austin Chapter & NCL North Austin) for helping keep the Rainbow Room stocked with essential items for children and families connected with CPS. ๐ŸŒˆ

As donations arrive, volunteers sort, organize, and stock everything from clothing and diapers to toys and other necessities, making sure caseworkers can quickly access the items families need most.

Interested in volunteering as a group, company, or organization? We'd love to hear from you! Reach out to learn more about volunteer opportunities.

Shoutout to our back-to-school rockstar, Anokhi! Anokhi gives her time every Summer break, helping ensure children connected with foster care have supplies to return to the classroom. This year, she raised over $2,000 with her banner painting small business, BannerLab ATX! ๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ All proceeds benefit our Rainbow Room, funding essential clothing, toiletries and hygiene items. ๐ŸŒˆ

Meet Markus, a thirteen-year-old basketballer in search of his home team before he enters high school.

Markus shines on the court. More than a player, he's a fan of the game. His favorite player is Luka Donฤiฤ‡ because he's kind and plays good basketball. Markus says he's followed Luka to the Lakers, a true fan!

Off the court, Markus is looking ahead to high school. Markus says experiencing high school in the care of CPS, "would suck." He dreams of a family to support his self-proclaimed "go, go, go" lifestyle of fishing, basketball, and going places.

โค๏ธ Most of all, Markus hopes his Forever Family is kind. To learn more about Markus and adopting him, visit his Heart Gallery profile: https://partnershipsforchildren.org/heartgallery/markus/

Meet Jesus, a thirteen year old football player ready for his Forever Family to cheer him on.

Jesus has the classic confidence and humor of a soon-to-be-eighth-grader! He's set his sights on football season, and wants a family in the stands rooting for him. Jesus is passionate about the sport. From the first time he held a football, he says, "I wanna play football for the rest of my life."

Jesus is a die-hard Baltimore Ravens fan. Beyond his love of sports, Jesus cares deeply about his community. He's interested in helping the homeless community, and feels a close connection with his class in school.

โค๏ธ To learn more about Jesus, visit his Heart Gallery profile https://partnershipsforchildren.org/heartgallery/jesus/. Jesus dreams of a loving, supportive family.

His favorite subject is math, pairing perfectly with his love for mechanics.
