Next week, Thursday, June 4, Mosaic of Minds opens in Austin! Funded by a grant from the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health, teachers and students at McCallum High School Fine Arts Academy created "Mosaic of Minds,โ a work of ceramic sculpture and glass mosaic focusing on human expression and mental health experience. A public unveiling ceremony will take place the afternoon of June 4 at the AISD Performing Arts Center to introduce their work to the wider community.
Last fall, the Hogg Foundation awarded a $14,000 grant to the Austin Independent School District (AISD) to promote mental health awareness through public art. Teachers and students at McCallum High School Fine Arts Academy created โMosaic of Minds,โ a work of ceramic sculpture and glass mosaic focusing on human expression and mental health experience. On June 4, we will host a public unveiling ceremony at the AISD Performing Arts Center to introduce their work to the wider community. Please join us!
