We are pleased to announce that PEERS® for Adolescents will run from September 14 to December 14, 2026!

PEERS® for Adolescents is an evidence-based social skills program for adolescents in middle and high school who are interested in making and keeping friends and/or handling conflict and rejection. Adolescents and parents attend weekly sessions for 90 minutes per week over a 14-week curriculum duration.

Participants are taught critical social skills through didactic lessons and role-play demonstrations, applying these techniques during structured group socialization activities.

Parents attend separate sessions simultaneously to learn how to effectively assist adolescents in expanding their social circles and handling peer difficulties (parent participation is required).

Central Texas Autism Center (CTAC) is pleased to announce an Intensive Training for Teachers of students with Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities. We are offering a week-long course that will include lectures/presentations and videos of ABA therapy sessions. The workshop is geared toward any professionals working with Early Childhood, Elementary and Middle School aged children with special needs. This workshop will focus on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with an emphasis on B.F. Skinner’s Verbal Behavior and the Essentials for Living Curriculum. This course will help school districts fulfill the standards set forth in NCLB and the Texas Autism Supplement. Contact us at [email protected]
