Unity Chapter #29 Order of the Eastern Star, Austin MN

Unity Chapter #29 and Fidelity Lodge #39 hosted a Scholarship Awards banquet on Tues, May 19, 2026. Students were honored guests, along with their parents. Neil H., Worthy Patron and Past Master, MC'd the event. The Scholarship Committee members presented certificates and checks to the student awardees. On behalf of the Scholarship Committee, WP Neil and Kathy F., PGM, GGCCM, presented the Eastern Star scholarships. WM Mary H., PGM, gave a response on behalf of Minnesota Masonic Charities. Minnesota Masonic Charities provided matching grants to add to the scholarships the students received, as well as the table favors.

Mothers were honored at our meeting Monday night. All were escorted to the East where WM Mary read a poem titled, "Tale of the Potholder" and gifted them potholders. Each Mother shared how many kids, grandkids, and great grandkids they have.

Installation of Officers was held on April 12, 2026 for Unity Chapter. This years theme is "Our Minnesota".

WM Mary has 3 tables set up representing Austin, Minnesota, and MN Masonic Charities.
New information will be added at each meeting.

Gnomes and Hedgehogs are the fun symbols. Flowers are sunflowers and impatiens (ifkyk).

Unity Chapter has cancelled our meeting tonight due to the likelihood of severe weather intensifying this evening.
