This year, thanks to the incredible generosity of the Gordon & Joyce Davis Foundation, each Texas FFA National Qualifying CDE team will receive $5,000 in travel support.
But the Davis’ generosity doesn’t stop there. An additional $5,000 will be awarded to any team that captures a national championship.
Davis earned his doctorate in meat science from Texas A&M University and spent a decade as a faculty member at Texas Tech University. During his academic career, he coached national champion meat judging teams and helped shape the future of countless students pursuing careers in agriculture.
He has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to agricultural education and student success. A former educator, he recognized a need for enhanced instructional material, in 1984, Davis entered the entrepreneurial world and established CEV Multimedia. Today, iCEV develops online curricula, instructional materials and certification testing in Career & Technical Education (CTE).
Today, through the Gordon & Joyce Davis Foundation, that commitment continues by helping provide opportunities for the next generation of agricultural leaders to compete, grow and succeed.
Thank you for your unwavering support of agricultural education and student achievement.
