Reminder: The Texas Water Development Board is accepting applications for Water Supply and Infrastructure Grants (WSIG), established under House Bill 500. These grants provide 100% funding for eligible water supply and infrastructure projects.

Eligible projects include water supply and water infrastructure improvements or system replacements, and reuse efforts such as addressing water loss, or resolving TCEQ violations.

Full applications are due Thursday, July 30.

TWDBβs Water Weekly: The latest drought map for conditions as of June 9 shows drought contraction of seven or more percentage points for the third consecutive week. Total drought area in the state has reached its smallest extent since October 2025, and with recent rains, we can expect more improvement on next week's map. https://bit.ly/TexasWaterWeekly
