5️⃣ | We've reached the top 5 in our Top 25 countdown! Cassidy Eckhardt is planning to study at the University of Virginia in the fall. At BHS, she was the Class of 2026 Secretary, and participated in Math Honor Society, Mathletes, Mock Trial, National Honor Society, Science Honor Society, Science Olympiad, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and was captain of the Girls Varsity Tennis team. She adds that the people she's been surrounded by at Binghamton have pushed her to work harder and become more confident. Congratulations, Cassidy!

🖍️ | First graders from Thomas Jefferson are sending some colorful love to children in need. The students save 41 pounds of crayons; instead of going to the landfill they'll be recycled into new crayons which will be donated to children in hospitals across the country. Talk about TJ All Stars - way to go!

🎓 | The Senior Spotlight hits Noah Corey today! Noah is entering the workforce upon graduation from BHS, landing a job at BAE Systems. He participated in wrestling & volleyball at Binghamton and says a favorite memory from his time in high school is going to Sectionals in 2025. Congratulations, Noah!

🎓 | Congratulations to John Steed, the feature of today's Senior Spotlight! John plans to attend SUNY Broome in the fall to study Business. He was a member of National Honor Society & Business Honor Society at Binghamton High School. He also ran cross country, indoor track, & track and field during his time at BHS. Congratulations, John!

6️⃣ | Joshua Sharak is graduating at Number 6 in the Class of 2026! Josh played baseball & soccer and was also a member of National Honor Society at BHS. He tells future Binghamton students to make sure they don't take their time at the high school for granted. Josh will attend Binghamton University in the fall to study mechanical engineering. Congratulations, Josh!

7️⃣ | Another day, another Donahue in the Top 25! Joining her sister in the top-10 is Kaitlyn Donahue, who graduates 7th in the Class of 2026. Kaitlyn plans to study Biology at Binghamton University this fall. While at BHS, she was a member of the lacrosse & cheer teams as well as National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Mathletes, SADD, & Student Government. She also volunteered with the Harper Stantz Community Clean-Up, the BHS Thanksgiving Dinner, & Freshman Orientation. Her advice for new BHS students: don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try new things! Congratulations, Kaitlyn!

🎓 | Congratulations to the final 5th-grade class of "Roosevelt 2.0" as they move up to middle school!

We can't wait to see how they continue to grow and build on what they've learned - a lot like the Theodore Roosevelt Elementary building will be reconstructed and improved next year!
