Happy National Day of Joy! ๐ŸŒŸ

Today, we celebrate the moments, people, and experiences that bring joy into our lives.

At Southern Tier AIDS Program, we find joy in building connections, supporting our community, and helping individuals live healthier, fuller lives. Every act of kindness, every volunteer hour, every donation, and every conversation helps create a stronger and more compassionate community.

Joy can be found in many placesโ€”a smile from a friend, a helping hand, a shared meal, or knowing that someone cares.

Today, we encourage everyone to take a moment to spread a little joy. Reach out to a loved one, support a neighbor, practice self-care, or simply share a kind word. Together, small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

What brings YOU joy today? Share with us in the comments! ๐Ÿ’œ

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equity and justice for all.

At Southern Tier AIDS Program, we recognize the importance of addressing health disparities, promoting inclusion, and supporting communities that have historically faced barriers to care and opportunity.

In observance of Juneteenth, Southern Tier AIDS Program will be closed today, June 19. We will reopen during our regular business hours on the next business day.

As we reflect on the significance of this day, we encourage everyone to learn, celebrate, and continue working toward a future where all people are treated with dignity, respect, and equality.

โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿšฒ Summer is officially riding season!

Our Ride for Life yard signs are making their way out across the Finger Lakes, and we couldn't be more excited to see them on display. Every sign is a reminder that September 19th is getting closer and that an incredible group of riders, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters are making this event possible.

With beautiful weather and prime training conditions ahead, we hope you're getting out there and enjoying some miles.

Remember!! Whether you're training for 14 miles or 102...
๐Ÿšด Ride smart
๐Ÿฆบ Be visible
๐Ÿšฆ Follow the rules of the road
๐Ÿ’ง Stay hydrated

Most importantly, be safe out there and have fun!

Keep an eye out for our yard signs and give us a wave if you spot one. ๐Ÿ’œ

Identity, along with our other STAP friends, spent the weekend celebrating love, acceptance, and community at both Pride Palooza in Binghamton and Pride in the Park in Ithaca. ๐ŸŒˆโค๏ธ

Both events were filled with smiling faces, positive energy, and community members feeling free to be their authentic selves. Moments like these remind us why creating safe, supportive spaces is so important.

One of the highlights of the weekend was meeting a former youth participant who shared that they were part of the program during its early days in 2008. They spoke about the positive impact the Youth Center had on their life and expressed gratitude for the support they received. Even more meaningful was hearing that they are now sending their own children to the program. Stories like these remind us that the connections we build today can have lasting impacts for generations.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared their stories, and celebrated with us. We hope you continue spreading love, acceptance, and positive vibes throughout Pride Month and beyond. ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆโœจ
