Lori is a true steward of the land. She transformed her backyard into a reforestation project, working to restore and stabilize her streambank through thoughtful tree planting. The growth and maturity of these trees stand as a testament to her dedication, care, and ongoing collaboration with our program. ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒณ

Happy to lend a hand with our friends at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County as we plant replacement trees in the beautiful Cutler Botanic Garden. ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒณ

A severe wind storm last summer caused significant damage -snapping even healthy, mature trees across parts of Binghamton.

Itโ€™s great to be part of restoring and strengthening this community space. Looking forward to seeing these new trees grow for years to come!

Happy Earth Day! There are countless ways to make a meaningful difference for our environment ๐ŸŒŽ

๐ŸŒณ Plant a tree
๐Ÿ Create a pollinator garden
๐Ÿฅพ Clean up trash on your road
๐ŸŒฑ Reduce food waste
๐Ÿ’งSupport conservation groups or local clean-up efforts
๐Ÿ’ก Switch to LED bulbs or unplug devices youโ€™re not using
๐Ÿšฒ Swap a short car trip for biking or walking when you can
๐Ÿ›๏ธ Cut back on single-use plastics

Even small habits, done consistently, matter more than one big gesture once a year.

Weโ€™re proud to partner with the Upper Susquehanna Coalition! ๐ŸŒฟ

Check out this short video highlighting one of our project sites here in Broome County. Thanks to native plantings and wetland enhancements, this private property has become a thriving habitat for birds, insects, mammals, and amphibiansโ€”a true wildlife haven!

Stay tuned for more updates on how these efforts are making a difference. ๐ŸŒŽ
