We will be diamond painting a dragon coaster on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 11 am. This program is for teens and adults.

Our candle making workshop was a lot of fun! Patrons created their very own candle to take home, from start to finish.

These dragon eggs from this past Monday are absolutely beautiful. Thank you to all who showed up!

Author Matt Dinniman held an amazing author talk last week! Patrons got to participate in an active discussion around his books while enjoying donuts and ginger ale. We even had a few cosplayers, featuring one awesome Carl, and the fabulous Princess Donut! Thank you to all of our patrons who joined, both in person and online.

What happens when a curious kid gets lost in the jungle? A whole lot of fun! This summer, Birmingham Children’s Theatre is bringing The Jungle Book to life with Birmingham Public Libraries — for free!

Your family will be on the edge of your seats as Mowgli befriends Baloo the Bear and Bagheera the panther, outwits a gang of sneaky monkeys, and comes face-to-face with the fierce tiger, Shere Khan, in this fast-paced retelling of the classic Rudyard Kipling tales. It's a perfect outing for young adventurers — no tickets, no fuss, just great live theatre at your neighborhood library this June and July.
