Today we commemorate Juneteenth and honor the resilience, freedom and progress it represents.

Central Alabama Water is closed today in observance of Juneteenth. We will re-open Monday, June 22.

We were excited to welcome interns and students from the Cahaba River Coalition to Central Alabama Water to learn how we treat and deliver safe drinking water to the communities we serve.

During their visit, the group learned about the water filtration process, toured our facilities and gained a better understanding of the work that goes into providing clean, reliable water every day.

Part of the Central Alabama Water team recently toured American Cast Iron Pipe Company. We appreciated the opportunity to learn more about how ductile iron pipe is manufactured.

AMERICAN recently welcomed Central Alabama Water for a tour of our ductile iron pipe manufacturing operations. Central Alabama Water maintains more than 4,000 miles of pipe across its service area. We appreciate the important work you do to deliver clean, reliable drinking water to people and communities across the area.
