Join us for an exciting day designed to help incoming 6th graders prepare for their Oak Mountain Middle School journey.

CAMP EAGLE: August 10th
-8:15am-10:15 am *Doors open at 8am
This event is for 6th grade students only.
-Students will have the opportunity to practice opening their locker, meeting teachers, cheering at a pep rally & learning the spirit cheers, walking through the lunch line, and locating key places in the building!

Drop off students in the carpool line in front of the school, beginning at 8. Pickup will be same location at 10:15.

There's still time to order your school supplies, but the deadline is approaching! Go to https://1stdayschoolsupplies.com/gs/1154 and choose your grade level to order supplies for your student by July 1st! Supplies will be delivered to the school in July!

Check out pictures from our inaugural 8th-grade Bridge Day! Students heard from Compact in morning and afternoon sessions. They also showed off their bowling skills while competing in teams at Lucky Strike. The highlight of the day was a special team-building session at the Indian Springs Village Town Hall. First, OMHS students shared helpful tips for success in high school, and then teams participated in several problem-solving, collaborative challenges.

Several of our students had lots of growth this year as shown in their achievement on the WIDA ACCESS assessment! We are super proud of these students! 👏👏👏👏

Mrs. Castleman, our Support Personnel of the Year, was recognized at today’s board meeting. We are so thankful for all she does for our students! We will definitely miss her when she retires, but we’re very thankful for the time we’ve had her at OMMS!

Today is the last edition of Workforce Wednesday for this year! The topic of the day is Lifelong Learning!

Lifelong Learner- someone who continues to learn new skills and knowledge throughout their life, beyond formal education. Albert Einstein said, “Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death”. As you leave for the summer, find opportunities to grow and learn. You don’t need a classroom to continue learning.
