In recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office was honored to join the residents of Brookdale University Park for an important discussion on protecting our senior community.
Attendees were highly engaged, listening intently and asking thoughtful questions about scams, identity theft, elder abuse, and financial fraud. A special thank you to Sgt. Ashondra Jackson, Detective Jasmin Paige, and Deputy Jonathan McKinney for providing valuable information and resources while fostering meaningful conversations with those in attendance.
