The Hillsdale College K-12 Summer Conference just wrapped up. Our faculty, including its newest members, attended and participated in a cornucopia of sessions related to the curriculum, excellent classical teaching, the American civic heritage, and the cultivation of moral virtue. They look forward to bringing everything they learned back to Novus and seeing students return in August.
P.S. We're still looking for a Spanish teacher to join this incredible team.

Idaho Novus Classical Academy is seeking an elementary school Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Our mission is to train the minds and improve the hearts of students through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility. Idaho allows charter schools to train and certify their own teachers, so teacher certification is not required for initial hire. If you'd like to make our mission your vocation, reach out to us today.

Congratulations to Mrs. Danielle Frederick and Ms. Elizabeth Williams on their acceptances into graduate programs. Mrs. Frederick will soon begin her Master of Classical Education Leadership (MCEL) at the Diana Davis Spencer Graduate School of Classical Education at Hillsdale College. Simultaneously, Ms. Williams is about to begin her studies through the Braniff Graduate School of Liberal Arts at the University of Dallas, where she is pursuing a Master of Arts in Humanities with a Classical Education concentration. Both of them will continue to pursue our mission in earnest, strengthened by the knowledge gained through these rigorous programs.

Two Novus seventh graders were selected to compete in the Idaho round of the National Civics Bee happening today! This opportunity was introduced to the seventh graders during Mr. McGrady’s history class earlier in the year. Esmae and Teagan will be representing Novus as 2 of the 20 students selected statewide. Let’s all congratulate these students on their efforts and cheer them on today.

Great news! We are officially at full enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year at all grade levels K-8! We look forward with great anticipation to next year, our third year in operation. We have had one of the strongest launches of any American classical academy in history and the demand for this education is increasing.
We can’t wait to welcome our new cohort of students and to welcome back our returning families in August.
We are still accepting applications for our waitlists at all grade levels. Spots on our waitlist move quickly, so we encourage you to apply today to be considered for future openings over the summer and in the fall. If you know anyone who might be interested in an American classical education for their child who has not yet applied, please let them know there is still opportunity and time to apply. Please visit us at idahonovus.org/admissions, call us, or email [email protected] with any questions you have.
