Brothers Plead Guilty in $8 Million Armed Cryptocurrency Kidnapping Case
U.S. Attorney Daniel N. Rosen announced that Isiah Angelo Garcia and Raymond Christian Garcia, of Waller, Texas, pleaded guilty in connection with their roles in a September 2025 armed robbery of a family in Grant, Minnesota, and the theft of more than $8 million in digital assets.

Today FBI and ATF announced Operation Ballistic Backlog
SAC Christopher Dotson joined ASAC Spence Burnett, US Attorney for South Dakota Ron Parsons, Oglala Sioux Tribe (OST) Department of Public Safety Chief Jason Lone Hill, and OST Attorney General Jessica Four Bear in announcing Operation Ballistic Backlog under Operation Steadfast Promise.
The joint effort is processing a back log of evidentiary fi****ms from crimes on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation into the National Integrated Ballistics Information Network (NIBIN). ATF dispatched its NIBIN mobile unit to Rapid City, South Dakota, to support the initiative.
